Misty- 2 yr old Chihuahua Trio Colored Female 5 lbs Misty is a super sweet and affectionate little girl. If you are interested in a dog that spends her day giving you 110% of her love and cuddles, this is the one for you. She gets along well with other dogs, and is timid about new places at first, but warms up fast. She is fine off leash at the dog park with both big and small dogs. She works best with a decently regimented schedule, as do most dogs, where walks and outdoor breaks are concerned. She is quiet and does not bark much at all unless she is worried. Needless to say she has been staying in our foster home with another dog without incident. Her favorite things to do are lay on the floor within view of us, or next to us on the couch while we work on our laptops. The only minor thing that I have noticed is that she seems to be scared of the outdoors when it is dark. Her senses seem to perk up at the sounds, and given her size, I think that is quite natural. She eats well, and responds to her name quickly, just expect to give her a quick hug when you call her over. The only recommendations that we have is that she would be best as an only dog in the new owners house, that is not to say there are other problems with other dogs, but she wants a lot of attention, so if you are looking for one dog that is there to give you all the affection you can handle then Misty is your choice. However, when you are busy with things around the house, she is more than content to lay on the floor until you are done. All in all she has been great and has responded well to everything we have thrown at her with regards to socialization with people and other dogs, quietness unless she feels threatened, and a healthy eating schedule. All in all she will benefit from attention and some stability with her new home. Once she has that, she seems to fall into a very content and relaxed state, and will cuddle next to you any chance she gets.
